Job Description
UIC Technical Services (UICTS) is an Alaska Native holding company owned by Ukpeagvik Inupiat Corporation (UIC). UIC Technical Services is based in Alexandria, VA. UICTS and its Bowhead family of companies provide our government and private sector customers'' expertise in areas such as statistical support, program management, systems engineering/integration, logistics/supply support, software management/development, IT services support, aviation logistics/performance based logistics (PBL), configuration management, risk management and training/simulation support.

Bowhead is looking for a Receptionist I in Vicksburg, MS. Candidate will perform the following duties:

Greet, identify, and direct visitors.
Perform routine administrative support functions and work closely with Project Managers.
Participate in special projects as required.
Make appointments, travel arrangements, meeting arrangements and coordinates activities between program management, customer, and outside parties.
Assist new hires through the on-boarding process and verify new hire paperwork is complete and submitted to human resources.

Physical demands: May be required to lift small boxes and office equipment not to exceed 25 lbs. Candidate will be required to sit for long periods of time.
Work environment: This work will be performed inside a typical office setting.
Required Skills
Must have experience and skills with Microsoft Office software
Required Experience
High school diploma or equivalent and 0-2 years of relevant experience.

Candidates must follow all company Non-DOT Drug and Alcohol Testing Program Requirements.
All post-secondary education listed on a Candidate s application and resume must be verifiable, including but not limited to dates of attendance and degree/diploma awarded. Post-secondary education includes any courses taken through an accredited college or university in pursuit of a degree.
UICTS/Bowhead will check the motor vehicle records of any job applicant where driving may be required or where a rental car must be obtained for business travel purposes. The applicant''s job offer may be contingent upon this driving record check. The driving record check will include review of any appropriate state records based on the employee''s application and resume. Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
