, in Vicksburg is currently looking for a Health, Safety, and Security Supervisor to provide leadership and mentorship, direction, and support to ensure the team provides service and support for all operational activities of the facilityThis position is instrumental in promoting a values-based safety culture by empowering frontline employees, exemplifying selfless leadership, fostering purposeful growth, and building strong respectful relationships.
Health, Safety, and Security Supervisor Duties:
Support and serve all Ergon Refining, Incemployees, contractors, and customers by providing subject matter expertise, promoting a culture of care, facilitating continual improvement, and being a passionate advocate for organizational betterment.
Work with the Site Services Team and corporate HSE department to create and maintain a shared vision, shared values, and an environment where employees can be fully involved in achieving departmental and company goals or objectives.
Promote the advancement of Occupational Safety performance beyond compliance to the regulatory requirements.
Oversee facility security activities to ensure compliance with corporate, USCG, and DOT requirements.
Oversee occupational health activities to ensure medical support for employees in accordance with OSHA regulations as well as company and corporate policies and procedures.
Conduct periodic internal reviews or assessments to ensure conformance to applicable standards and internal program requirements.
Assist in developing and analyzing various Occupational Safety KPls to focus on continuous improvement of the site Safety Management Systems.
Coordinate with various departments to determine training needs, evaluate employee performance, and develop training programs to improve employee knowledge, skills, and performance, specifically in the areas of health, safety, and security.
Health, Safety, and Security Supervisor Requirements:
High levels of Trust, Humility, Character, Integrity, Resolve, and Respect Requires a self-motivated person that pays attention to details with excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Sdegree in applicable field, preferred.
Five years of operations experience in refining or chemical processing facility, preferred.
Five years of experience in a safety related role, preferred.
Certified Safety Professional designation, preferred.
Knowledge of US Coast Guard, DOT, EPA and OSHA Regulations Above average computer skills Ergon Refining, Incis an EEO/AAP employer.
