Job DescriptionJob DescriptionJob Description RECENT PAY RATE INCREASES Up to $30,000 sign on bonus available The RN provides evaluation of assigned patients and plans, implements and documents nursing care.
The RN provides assistance to nursing peers as requested.
The Registered Nurse assists physicians during examinations and procedures.
The RN performs various patient tests and administers medications within the scope of practice of the registered nurse.
The RN promotes patients' independence by establishing patient care goals and teaching patients and families to understand conditions, medications, and self-care skills.
The RN will be familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the nursing field.
REQUIREMENTS:
Graduate of a nursing program is required Bachelor's Degree is preferred Must demonstrate ability to interpret basic EKG strips as evidenced by 80% or greater pass rate on initial exam or successful competency within six (6) weeks of hire date Prior emergency or critical care nursing experience is preferred Current Mississippi or compact RN licensure is required BLS, ACLS and PALS required (or within 30 days of hire) SAMA required (or within 60 days of hire) TNCC required (or within 18 months of hire) this posting may be used to fill any shift Recommended Skills Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (Acls) Basic Life Support Certified Nurse Practitioner Critical Care Electrocardiography Health Care Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
