EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE Associates degree in Industrial Maintenance, Electrical or related field.
Experience in the industry or utilities industry sector desirable ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES, include the following.
Other duties may be assigned:
Define weekly work assignments and priorities for students and oversee the monitoring of students' time on projects.
Support the leadership development and counseling goals of the program through appropriate site activities and processes.
Enforce safety procedures.
Participate in community service projects.
Utilize a variety of effective and professional teaching techniques and methods, which assist student(s) in attaining the performance objectives of the course.
Annually prepare and submit a course of study including program objectives, student performance objectives and daily lesson plans.
Annually prepare and submit a program budget and is responsible for making requests for materials and supplies, not to exceed the amount and types of expenditures set forth in the program's approved budget.
Assist in student placement activities.
Submit all forms and information needed for attendance accounting and grade reporting.
Establish an advisory committee, which will include representatives from related business, industry, labor, professional organizations, and other public and/or private agencies providing the same or related training and hold a minimum of one meeting during each school year.
Attend staff meetings and other meetings as required by the Director.
Observe the administrative policies for credentialed personnel as set forth by the guiding administrator.
Instruct students in resume writing and interview techniques.
Perform other related duties as required.
Maintain knowledge of diversity-related issues, legislation, and best practices.

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, and the employee is occasionally required to perform job responsibilities in the outdoors and off site.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
